Majid Asadi
Assistant Professor
I obtained my PhD in computer engineering with a focus on computer vision from university of Genoa in Italy. After several years of experience in industry, I joined Hamedan university of technology, where I am an assistant professor of artificial intelligence at the department of computer engineering. My research interests are Computer Vision & Machine Learning, Medical Image Analysis, Object Detection & Recognition, and Image Data Analysis. I teach the following BSc courses: Machine Learning with Python, Advanced Programming (java, python), Theory of Automata, Engineering Mathematics, Research Methods and Presentation. MSc courses I teach are Computer Vision, and Pattern Recognition. I have supervised several BSc and MSc theses. I was awarded the ICIP2020 Top Reviewer Recognition (among the top 3% reviewers) certificate. Besides, I am in charge of setting up the High-Performance Computing (HPC) center of the university.
